The ministry of intercession is dedicated to the spiritual care of the church and souls, knowing (2 Corinthians 4-6) that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in GOD for the pulling down of strongholds, casting down every argument and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of GOD.

(Ephesians 6-12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

What is an intercessor? He is the one who stands between GOD and man, he is the one who prays to GOD on behalf of another. To intercede is to ask GOD for others, as it says (Ezekiel 22-30 and seek out a man among them who would make a hedge and stand in the gap before me on behalf of the land, so that I would not destroy it and not there. 

Our ministry of intercession intercedes for the needs of:

The church: for spiritual purity, for a constant outpouring of the holy spirit, for its growth, to be kept from evil, for its petitions.

For their leaders: Colossians 4-2 to 4 so that GOD will open doors for the word, so that Christ may be preached, and wisdom to guide the people.
